Cast removal is far faster than shears and the depth control is good. The blade warms up on longer bivalving, so I pause on anxious patients.

Safe cast removal
The oscillating blade cuts through fibreglass and plaster casts efficiently while the oscillation spares the underlying skin. Patients tolerate the reduced heat and noise well.
