Terms and conditions

Last updated 2026-04-29

These terms apply when you browse Orthoprovet, request a quote, open a customer account, or place an order with us. By using the site you accept them; if you do not, please leave the site.

Who we sell to

We sell to qualified medical, surgical, and veterinary professionals and to the institutions that employ them. Some devices are restricted to specific licences (e.g. implantable orthopedic surgical devices) — we will ask for proof of eligibility before shipping. We do not sell to consumers and do not provide medical advice.

Quotes and orders

  • Quotes are valid for the validity period printed on the PDF (typically 30 days). Prices on the website — where shown — are indicative; the binding price is the one on your signed quote or proforma invoice.
  • Orders become binding when we acknowledge them in writing. If a manufacturer's lead time changes between quote and acknowledgement, we will tell you before charging.
  • Title to goods passes when payment is received in full; risk-of-loss passes per the agreed Incoterm (typically DAP for EU/MENA, EXW for distributor pickups).

Payment

We accept bank transfers, credit cards (via Stripe), and PayPal where the device value and your jurisdiction allow. Card and PayPal are typically reserved for orders below the per-device threshold listed on each quote. For larger orders, a wire transfer to the bank details on the proforma invoice is the standard route.

Shipping and delivery

Lead time and shipping cost are quoted per order. We use the manufacturer's preferred forwarder for fragile or calibrated equipment. Customs clearance in the destination country is the customer's responsibility unless we explicitly include DDP service in the quote. See our shipping & delivery page for the full table.

Returns and refunds

Medical devices have specific return rules — some can be returned within a window if unopened and uncalibrated; others cannot be returned at all once configured to a specific clinic. The applicable rule is on the product page and on your quote. See Return & refund policy for the full procedure.

Warranty

Each device carries the manufacturer's warranty (typically 12 to 24 months). The exact period is printed on the product page and on your quote. Warranty claims are handled directly with the manufacturer; we coordinate the logistics on your behalf at no additional charge.

Limitation of liability

Orthoprovet is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost revenue, lost data, lost surgical slots) arising from the use of equipment supplied by us. Our maximum liability for any single order is the value of that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. for personal injury caused by negligence).

Medical disclaimer

Equipment we supply is sold for use by qualified professionals. We make no medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic claims beyond those documented by the manufacturer in the regulatory paperwork that ships with each device.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable United States federal law. Disputes that cannot be resolved by good-faith discussion will be referred to the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
