Orthopaedic Implants for Veterinary Fracture Repair
Veterinary orthopaedic implants provide internal fixation for fracture repair, corrective osteotomy and joint stabilisation in companion and large animals. Appropriately sized plates, screws, pins and wires restore anatomical alignment and load-sharing, supporting early return to weight-bearing and reliable bony union across a range of patient sizes.
This range spans locking and non-locking plates, cortical and cancellous screws, Kirschner wires and fixation pins in profiles suited to small- and large-breed anatomy. Implants are typically manufactured in surgical stainless steel or titanium alloy for biocompatibility and corrosion resistance, and are supplied for steam sterilisation before use.
